About Us

We appreciate how difficult it can be for someone to move into a new home, particularly someone who is accustomed to living on their own or who needs special assistance with daily functions. Therefore, we strive to provide them with an environment that will make them feel like part of an extended family.

The driving force behind this effort is Conchita. As the owner and administrator, Conchita has assembled a staff that is dedicated to providing the highest possible service to our residents. A team of employees and family members works together to ensure that even the smallest details are given due attention. Her dedication and leadership by example make her the standard bearer for how the homes are run on a daily basis.

The team is rounded out by several other family members, coming together to help ensure a true sense of “home” in all of our facilities. Conchita’s husband, Orr, is actively involved in daily operations, most notably when it comes to food preparation. In addition to making the rounds through the houses to help prepare meals (including fielding special culinary requests from residents), Orr takes responsibility for the weekly shopping efforts to find the best possible and in-season produce available. Orr will also frequently assist in transportation efforts to get our residents to their scheduled appointments with doctors or beauticians.

Karla is the eldest daughter, co-administrator and staff trainer, with her mother’s knack for attention to detail. Maria, Conchita’s sister, is the live-in caregiver at Eva’s Garden. Carlos, Conchita’s cousin, is the live-in at Victoria’s Place. And last but not least, is Sylvia, Conchita’s niece who is our roving musician, and the person in charge of the exercise and activities programs.

The family members are supplemented with the rest of the well-trained and dedicated staff that rounds out the team. All of them have been carefully selected, screened and fingerprinted. Most of them have been with us since early on when we started with one small house five years ago.

We strive to provide the best personalized care for our residents, in a private and intimate setting which allows them to maintain the highest possible quality of living. Our service programs are all customizable, so we can ensure each resident is getting the type of individual attention that they deserve. With the involvement of family and physicians, each resident’s care plan reflects their personal needs and is executed with the utmost respect for their safety, dignity, independence and well-being.

The single most valuable contribution to any of our residents’ general health and happiness, however, is regular visits from loved ones. As such, we encourage friends and family to visit our residents as often as possible. Our visiting hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day. Other hours can be available by special arrangement.

Loving Care Homes

Loving Care Homes is comprised of three unique facilities, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Sonoma County Wine Country. Spread throughout the lovely town of Santa Rosa, the houses were built to provide a safe and comfortable home for people who may need more care than either they or their families can provide. Each house contains no more than six residents in private rooms, to allow for the maximum amount of personalized attention and care.

The rooms are all comfortably furnished, some of which also include private baths. Furnishings are specifically selected to ensure comfortable and charming surroundings for all residents. However, if your loved one wants to bring his/her own furniture, furnishings or mementos, they are more than welcome to do so. Our first priority is to ensure that our residents feel safe and secure, and bringing their most treasured personal items is the best way to make them feel at home.

Each one of our homes is located in a peaceful residential neighborhood, surrounded by beautifully landscaped yards. Our residents enjoy the tranquility of our flowering gardens, and often find themselves enjoying the peace and quiet of a warm afternoon in the yard.
