Activities

Guests are invited and encouraged to participate in as many of our organized activities as they are interested or able. Our activities are specially designed to encourage both social interaction and personal stimulation. Our residents frequently find the activities to be a highlight of their experiences in our homes.

Physical Exercise

Light exercise is offered to those willing to participate. Gentle movements designed to help with circulation and flexibility, while fostering the maintenance of muscle tone appropriate for all ages.

Arts and Crafts

Creative activities and craftworks are a frequent favorite of both staff and residents.

Local Scenery

Neighborhood walks and scenic drives are organized when weather conditions are appropriate. Special events, like the Sonoma County Fair, also offer the opportunity for our residents to enjoy a departure from their daily routine.

Shopping

Shopping trips by special requests. Whether it is special grocery items, culinary treats, clothing and personal items, or a Christmas gift for a loved one, we are happy to assist with the personal shopping needs of our residents.

Loving Care Homes

Loving Care Homes is comprised of three unique facilities, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Sonoma County Wine Country. Spread throughout the lovely town of Santa Rosa, the houses were built to provide a safe and comfortable home for people who may need more care than either they or their families can provide. Each house contains no more than six residents in private rooms, to allow for the maximum amount of personalized attention and care.

The rooms are all comfortably furnished, some of which also include private baths. Furnishings are specifically selected to ensure comfortable and charming surroundings for all residents. However, if your loved one wants to bring his/her own furniture, furnishings or mementos, they are more than welcome to do so. Our first priority is to ensure that our residents feel safe and secure, and bringing their most treasured personal items is the best way to make them feel at home.

Each one of our homes is located in a peaceful residential neighborhood, surrounded by beautifully landscaped yards. Our residents enjoy the tranquility of our flowering gardens, and often find themselves enjoying the peace and quiet of a warm afternoon in the yard.
